Gorvim — Privacy Policy

This policy explains which personal data is processed when you use Gorvim (the "App"), a multiplayer murder-mystery game, why it is processed, and what your rights are. The App is prepared in line with the GDPR in the European Union and Türkiye's Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

1. Data Controller

Data we do not collect / store

IP addresses are not stored permanently — used only in memory for instant rate-limiting and language suggestion.
We do not collect precise location (city/region) or browser/device fingerprints (user-agent).
We do not collect full name, phone, address, or payment information. There is no account/password system.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Performance of a contract / legitimate interest: running the game, leaderboard, security, and abuse prevention.
Explicit consent: microphone access and the voice-question feature work only when you enable them; you may choose not to use them at any time.

4. Third Parties We Share Data With (Processors)

We use the following infrastructure providers to deliver the service. Your data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

These providers may be located outside your country (e.g. the US/EU); therefore data may be transferred abroad.

5. Retention Period

Analytics/session records are kept for up to 30 days by default and deleted automatically. Voice-question audio is not stored permanently. Your leaderboard record is kept until you request its deletion.

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR and KVKK (Art. 11), you have the right to access, rectify, request erasure of, object to the processing of, and port your data.

To exercise any of these rights — in particular to request deletion of your data — write to murat-guzel@outlook.com.tr. Your request will be fulfilled within a reasonable time (no later than 30 days). When requesting deletion, providing your nickname or the approximate date you played, if possible, helps us locate your record.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent and believe your child has shared data, please contact us.

8. Security

Data is protected with reasonable technical measures such as up-to-date security headers, rate limiting, token-protected admin access, and TLS (HTTPS) encryption.

9. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. For significant changes, the effective date will be updated. The current version is always on this page.
